Biological Decoding

A space to understand what you are living through, from your own story and your body’s response.

You can come for a physical symptom, or for a behavioural situation that keeps repeating itself and that you would like to understand better. Either way, we begin with what is happening to you today: when it started, how it shows itself and how it has changed.

Biological decoding starts from the idea that, before this response, there was a lived situation with a significant stress impact. In the session we work to find that situation and to understand how you lived it, beyond what objectively happened.

When we work with a physical symptom, we also take into account the part of the body affected, the tissue involved and its biological function. That information guides the questions and the search for the experience linked to the symptom. If you come for a behavioural reason, we start from the specific situation and the response pattern you want to work on.

Once the experience has been identified, we can make room for the stress attached to it, look for resources and work on a new way of facing what happened, or what is still happening.

Biological decoding is a complementary form of support. It does not replace medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment.

Before your first session

Before the first session I will send you a questionnaire so you can answer it calmly. It is an important part of the work: it invites you to look back over your story, place what you want to explore in time and begin to notice how you have lived it.

Set aside some time to do it with care. It is not a form to rush through, and you don’t need to have every answer clear. What you gather will help us prepare the session and give us a starting point to work together. If you need help, we can do it together, but it will count as a first session. Don’t worry: there will be no time limit when we do it together.

Understanding the response you live with today, to work on the story behind it.
